Does anybody know why...
the volume on my computer would keep modulating up and down? It happens when using Realplayer or the LastFM dashboard thingy.
It’s really making the Silver Jews sound crappy :(

If you’re wondering how you can make Sufjan Stevens’ “John Wayne Gacy, Jr.” even creepier, the simplest way is to edit together anonymous family home movies and educational films from the ’50s. I will probably have nightmares tonight.
I can’t even listen to this song all the way through without getting in a major downer so this video is just too much. The first song on the Glasvegas album is similarly heartbreaking.

I’m getting this burr Coffee grinder for Christmas (or my birthday, same week so they roll into one) and I can’t wait to use it. Coffee + gadget, what more could you want?
We got it for a steal as well (about half price) as everywhere has had 20%+ off to try and encourage us cash strapped Brits to get our wallets out.
